Sports Authority Boots Meadowlands Commission Chief
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The executive director of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission has lost her job since the agency is being folded into the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, according to a story on northjersey.com. Wayne Hasenbalg, the authority’s president and CEO, said Marcia Karrow’s $148,000-a-year job will be eliminated Oct. 16 and she currently is “using time she is entitled to.” Karrow could not be reached for comment, northjersey.com reported. HackensackUMC To Have Mental Health Symposium
BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. – A mental health symposium covering such topics as depression, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is set for Sept. 24-25 in Woodcliff Lake.
