A regular contributor to ChickSpeak.com and Teen Voices, Maxine attended Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s 2008 and 2009 Fall Conferences at Columbia University.

She’s a member of Teen Ink’s advisory board and was one of the publicists of Liz Funk’s book, Supergirls Speak Out.
