Demarest Dad's Massive Tailgate Raises Funds For Special Needs Community

DEMAREST, N.J. — More than $50,000 was raised during a charitable tailgate started years ago by a Demarest dad Mark Goldstein and a group of his friends.

Tailgate With A Cause was held at last Sunday's Giants v. Cowboys game, and funds are continuing to flow in.

The group of friends, most who hail from Suffern and New York, started out throwing bangers before games years ago, and then grew their massive parties into an act of kindness almost a decade ago.

The annual event raises funds for a different charity each year, with funds this year going to Pop.Earth, which focuses on holistic treatment for kids with special needs.
