- Take advantage of pre-made foods and appetizers . Have your supplies, like plates and utensils, prepared for easy assembling before your guests arrived.
- Know your audience. If you'll be entertaining kids, consider a brunch or breakfast instead of making them sit through a long formal dinner. Cocktail and hors-d'oeuvre parties also work great for diverse crowds and allow you to have numerous selections to please the whole group.
