CRESSKILL, N.J. --Like cheese? Then you'll like the Big Cheese event taking place Kings Food Market in Cresskill Saturday, Nov. 14.
Customers will be invited to savor, learn and explore a variety of domestic and international cheeses. Some of the highlights include a selection of cheeses from the local Farmstead Creamery Cherry Grove Farms in Lawrenceville, the Somerdale Il Truffleino, a combination of Classic English Cheddar and Black Summer Truffle and the Tillamook Two Year Cheddar, voted "America’s Best" at the 2013 United States Championship Cheese Contest.
Chefs will also be on hand to demonstrate how to create the Kings Brie en Croute Apple Cranberry Compote, a festive appetizer or dessert dish.
In addition to the on-site samplings, customers can also learn how to perfectly pair their favorite cheeses with an assortment of fruits, jams and nuts.
