To the editor:

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from the Tenafly School District. Since beginning my career as a social studies teacher in 1977, then later as a dean of students and now as vice principal, I have enjoyed working with and getting to know thousands of students and families in town.

Often, I have proudly bragged to colleagues in other districts, how extraordinary our schools are and how great my students and families are. I have loved my years at TMS because of our students, tremendous community support and because of the professionals who work with our students every day.

Before I move on to my next chapter, I want to thank you for the privilege of working with you and your children. I am going to miss my life here at TMS.

Sincerely, Mrs. Delouvrier
