The youngster is well on his way.

The School No. 6 student earned a perfect score — an 850, Level 5 — on both the math and language arts sections of the Spring 2017 PARCC assessment.

Logan, who studied just "a little bit of math," says the questions were fair and was "hoping for an A."

According to the New Jersey Department of Education, 50.4 percent of the state's third grade students scored a 4 or 5 on PARCC English test, and 52.4 percent scored the same on the math portion.

Logan was the only student in the school who earned a perfect score, according to Principal Robert Bargna.

"I am very proud of his accomplishment," said Bargna, formerly a student disciplinarian at the borough's high school. "It really is wonderful."
