The 11:15 caller said there was a bomb at the entrance to the tunnel and at other crossings, the Port Authority’s Steve Coleman told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
“We checked all crossings with negative results,” Coleman said. “No crossings were ever closed.”
A law enforcement source told CLIFFVIEW PILOT that an emotionally disturbed person who apparently made the call was “spoken to” by the NYPD, Port Authority and Homeland Security agents.
