The 33-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest, leg and hand and had a bloody nose and scratches on her face after the two women argued over an undisclosed personal issue between the two in the area of Central and West Demarest avenues yesterday morning.

EMTs treated her at the scene, Detective Capt. Timothy Torell told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Moments later, Officer Mark Van Wormer arrested 23-year-old city resident Chelsea Dias, who Torell said had fled the scene in her Honda, near West Englewood Avenue and South Brunt Street.

Officers also recovered the tweezers, Torell said.

Dias remained held on $12,500 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated assault and illegal weapons possession.
