CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Cresskill police grabbed a Jersey City man before dawn after a resident alerted them to a car burglay.
Sgt. Raymond Coleman and Officer Matthew Banta spotted George Estevez getting out of another car parked in an Adams Drive driveway around 5 a.m. Friday, authorities said.
They grabbed him as he tried to flee on Jackson Drive.
A search turned up various items apparently taken in car break-ins, police said.
Estevez was being held on $15,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with burglary, theft, resisting arrest and receiving stolen property.
