Cresskill Pedestrian, 52, Struck

CRESSKILL, N.J -- A 52-year-old Cresskill woman was hospitalized with injuries that police said weren't life-threatening after she was struck by an SUV Wednesday night.

The intersection was closed for less than an hour.

The woman was walking west on Madison Avenue crossing the intersection of Jefferson Avenue when she was struck by a Honda CRV driven by a 43-year-old Cresskill man, Detective Sgt. Jason Lanzilotti told Daily Voice.

No summons were immediately issued, Lanzilotti said, adding that an investigation was continuing.

The intersection was closed for less than an hour.
