Closter police raid massage parlor, charge Chinese national, 55, with prostitution

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Closter police charged a 55-year-old Chinese national working at a local massage parlor with engaging in prostitution after they said she solicited an undercover officer.

Weijuan Gu could only provide the address of the Zhong Hua Foot Spa on Closter Dock Road as a residence during a joint investigation Friday with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigation Squad, Detective Sgt. John McTigue said.

Detectives seized $3,300 in alleged illicit profits and released Gu on a summons to answer the charge in Municipal Court.

“Other matters regarding borough code violations have been forwarded to the appropriate agencies for further investigation,” McTigue said.
