Closter continues area crackdown on massage parlors

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 32-year-old Closter massage parlor employee was charged with engaging in prostition after she was arrested by borough police.

Closter Police Chief Dennis Kaine said a joint undercover investigation with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Special Investigation Squad of the Closter Massage Center, 273 Closter Dock Road, led to the arrest of Oksana Boychuk of Brooklyn.

Boychuk, 32, was processed and released pending a March 6 appearance in Closter Municipal Court, Kaine told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Police in Closter and other surrounding towns have kept a close eye on licensed area massage parlors and made several arrests the past few years involving masseuses who offered undercover officers more than a rubdown.
