The property at 85 Ackerman Avenue was burglarized sometime overnight Monday into Tuesday, Lt. Robert Bracken said.

Around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Bryan Baurys was patrolling the area and spotted both men inside the site, he said.

Officers established a perimeter, searched the property and arrested Christopher Janas, 57, of Passaic and Neil Lori, 50, of Nutley, Bracken said.

Both were charged with burglary -- although additional charges were possible, the lieutenant said.

Janas, who also was wanted on a warrant out of Bergen County, and Lori were being held pending a hearing Wednesday, Bracken said.

Meanwhile, an investigation continues.
