Detectives Wayne Stine and Frank Loran were patrolling the area of Lexington and Hamilton avenues when they spotted the group gathering, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.

Tymeer McNight, 19, of Clifton, was found with the weapon, arrested and charged, Bracken said. He also had an outstanding warrant, the lieutenant said.
