Francisco J. Lopez, 55, of Washington Heights was processed and released pending a hearing in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack after investigators from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stopped him and found the money, Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

The “suspiciously packaged” cash was stashed in an electronically-operated hidden compartment of Lopez’s black 2006 Jeep Cherokee, Grewal said.
