CLOSTER, N.J. -- Robert H. Martin, of Closter, died on Monday, Jan 30. He was 79.
Martin served in in the Marine Corps from 1956-1959, and he was an aircraft mechanic for Pan American and Delta Airlines.
"He took great pride in coaching his three boys in baseball," information from the funeral home noted. He was also a longtime member of St. Mary's Mr. and Mrs. Club.
Martin is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children William, Robert and Thomas; and grandchildren Abigail, Grace, Lauretta, Daniel, Regina and Victoria.
The funeral mass was held at the Church of St. Mary in Closter, and burial followed at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus. Moritz Funeral Home, in Closter, assisted with arrangements.
