TEANECK, N.J. -- Two young children and their National Guard mother got a playhouse, thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County.
The agency delivered the playhouse to the New Jersey Army National Guard Armory in Teaneck on Thursday.
Angela King, Habitat's director of volunteers, led a group of volunteers who presented the playhouse to Spc. Adriana Garcia of the 250th Brigade Support Battalion and her children, Arianna, 3, and Adam, 2.
A.J. Luna, Bergen County director of veterans’ services, helped arrange the donation after hearing about the need from another Guard Soldier Sgt. Eric Crafton.
The program to donate play houses for the children of military members is sponsored by Comcast.
