The borough wants to have a plan set by May 1 to send out for bid, and for the project to be completed in time for the 9/11 15th anniversary, The Record said.

Martin Santini, whose design work is seen in a memorial to 9/11 outside the Pentagon, presented his concepts a the meeting where he evoked feedback from six students in attendance, said The Record.

The students had gone with their own concepts for the memorial, The Record reported.

They will look for ideas at the World Trade Center museum and have five areas to consider in Santini's plan, said The Record.
