CLOSTER, N.J. -- Closter emergency medical technician Brian Pierro Jr., along with fellow crew members, was presented with an award from Hackensack UMC for the excellent care he provided on an emergency call in May 2015.
Although Pierro is a "newer" member, he has been on the Closter Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps for four years and has been an EMT for two.
He responds to many ambulance and rescue calls throughout the year, and is dedicated to serving the residents and visitors of Closter and Alpine.
Pierro is also an active member of the Closter Fire Department.
