Certified technicians will be doing the checks from 9 a.m. to noon, no reservations needed, at the Paramus Life Safety Building on E. Century Road.

Three out of four car seats are installed incorrectly, Sgt. Brian Linden told Daily Voice.

"Nobody ever thinks it's going to happen to them," said Linden, who spearheaded the initiative.

"Make sure that you're doing everything you can to protect your child."
