Hound Mix Surrendered By Owners, Closter Rescue Desperate For Foster Family

CLOSTER, N.J. — Time is running out for Shea, a 2-year-old hound mix currently with CLAWS in Closter.

Shea is 2 years old and loves to be outside.

Her family has to give her away and there are no foster homes available at the rescue.

She would be great in a very active home or on a farm where she can be put to work out in the open. The mixture of her breeds come from working dogs so she would really benefit from the activity.

Shea is housebroken, spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is great with any person she meets and is good with other dogs.

She is ok with children but the older the better. There is no aggression in this sweet girl but sometimes with her big energy she may end up knocking over a smaller child.

She loves to cuddle and give kisses, loves to play outside and doesn't mind rides in the car.
