Women Look To The Future At Closter High Tea Event

CLOSTER, N.J. -- LadyDrinks will be holding a high tea in Closter on Saturday, Jan. 23, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event is also a “manifest party,” an effort to bring participants together to discuss the lives they envision for themselves two years from now.

Adapted from Celina Lee, founder of the organization Give One Dream, such events provide the opportunity for those in attendance to consider exactly what each of them wants in order to bring it about.

LadyDrinks, which is holding the party, is a NewYork-based women's networking initiative supporting South Asian female entrepreneurs. It was founded by NY1 anchor Joya Dass.

The high tea is open to 20 women. Each will be called upon to declare particulars about how she envisions her future life.

Monisha Kapur will be extending her home on McCain Court for the gathering.
