All proceeds benefit homeless animals.

CLAWS was founded 40 years ago as Lost Pet Service, Inc. It isn't a shelter.

"We focus our time and efforts to rescue and foster abandoned or unwanted cats and dogs in the Bergen County, NJ area," the organization says. "With the help of a network of dedicated volunteers, we work to find the best permanent homes for these animals."
