CLOSTER, N.J.-- The Closter Public Library will host a workshop Tuesday, Oct. 20 on consumer fraud and education, featuring a representative from the state Division of Consumer Affairs.
The 7:30 p.m. talk will explain IRS scams, lottery and sweepstakes issues and citizen harassment by solicitations and imposters.
The workshop will help guests of the program to locate resources and feel empowered to stop fraud before it affects them. The library is at 280 High St.
