CLOSTER, N.J.– Popular Closter restaurant Harvest Bistro is closing Sunday.
"I cannot begin to convey how wonderful it has been these last 13 years and what a privilege it was to share so many wonderful experiences with you," owner Russell Stern wrote in a Facebook post.
"I hope that many of you will come in... to say goodbye and allow me to to personally thank you for your support for all these years," he added.
Loyalists of the Schraalenburgh Road French/American restaurant responded in kind.
"Harvest was the best place to work for and with the greatest people that ever were," wrote Jeorjia Shea. "You should be so proud of what you created and how you affected so many people."
"Some truly amazing memories and [it definitely] was our all time favorite go-to place," added Jill Harrison Cohen. "Wishing Russ and the rest of the Harvest team all the best in the future endeavors. We will miss it."
