A Closter resident sent Daily Voice a photo of four dumpsters, filled so high that the lids could not close, and said it was taken on Sunday.

Along with the photo, he sent a section of the Closter Borough code stating: “The dumpster shall not be filled to the extent that the cover cannot be securely closed. The dumpster cover shall be kept closed at all times except when in operation."

Daily Voice left messages with borough officials and Whole Foods, but none were returned by Wednesday evening.
